Installation Steps

Step 1: The power cord is disconnected from the wall outlet.

Step 2: The pump & motor is found positioned on the rear of the washing machine.

Step 3: A screwdriver is utilized to loosen the hose clamps and the hoses are detached from the motor.

Step 4: The screws fastening the motor and the pump to the appliance's frame are extracted with the correct screwdriver.

Step 5: The old motor and pump assembly is gently elevated out of the washer.

Step 6: The new Whirlpool WPW10455261 PUMP&MOTOR is installed in the identical location of the previous unit and it is fastened with the screws.

Step 7: The hose clamps are repositioned and the hoses are reconnected.

Step 8: The power cord is reinserted into the electrical outlet.

Step 9: The functionality of the new pump & motor is verified to ensure it operates properly.
