Installation Steps

Step 1: Power to the appliance should be cut off by either unplugging it or deactivating the circuit breaker.

Step 2: The dishwasher door should be opened, a flathead screwdriver should be placed in the center of the latch, and down should be pushed firmly on the top of the screwdriver handle if the dishwasher latch is attached to the top of the door. If the latch is secured to the side of the door, the screwdriver should be inserted at the bottom of the latch and down should be pressed on the top of the handle.

Step 3: The latch should be leveraged away from the dishwasher door until it is detached from the door.

Step 4: Any leftover screws that are holding the latch to the dishwasher door should be removed.

Step 5: The old latch should be gently extracted from the door.

Step 6: The new latch should be taken and carefully fastened to the dishwasher door, ensuring all screws are securely tightened.

Step 7: The power should be reconnected and the circuit breaker should be switched on.

Step 8: The latch should be verified to ensure it is functioning correctly.

Please note that these instructions are served as general guidance and should always be utilized alongside the manufacturer's manual, if one is available.
