Installation Steps

Step 1: The refrigerator is disconnected from its electrical outlet.

Step 2: The refrigerator is cleared out and the water supply to the ice maker is shut off, if necessary.

Step 3: The refrigerator is slid away from the wall and positioned on a level surface.

Step 4: The lower panel that conceals the back of the refrigerator is removed.

Step 5: The existing Whirlpool WB10283356 Baffle is taken out.

Step 6: The new baffle is placed into position, ensuring it is aligned correctly with the surrounding components.

Step 7: The lower cover panel is reattached and power to the unit is restored.

Step 8: The refrigerator is restocked and the water supply to the ice maker is reactivated, if necessary.

Step 9: Your refrigerator is plugged in, completing the restoration.
