Installation Steps

Step 1: The refrigerator should be disconnected from the electrical outlet and all food items should be taken out from the freezer.

Step 2: A screwdriver should be utilized to take out the screws fastening the cover plate at the rear of the freezer.

Step 3: The ice bucket should be removed and a screwdriver should be utilized to unscrew the mounting screws that hold the icemaker to the freezer's ceiling.

Step 4: A pair of pliers should be used to detach the electrical connections located at the back of the existing icemaker.

Step 5: The old icemaker should be extracted from the freezer and disposed of.

Step 6: The new icemaker should be positioned in the location of the previous unit. It should ensure that it is securely fastened.

Step 7: The electrical connections should be reconnected using the pair of pliers.

Step 8: The mounting screws on the back of the new icemaker should be fastened with a screwdriver.

Step 9: The ice bucket should be returned to the freezer and the cover plate should be reattached.

Step 10: The refrigerator should be plugged back into the electrical outlet.
