Installation Steps

Step 1: The power is disconnected from the appliance. The refrigerator is unplugged and the water supply is turned off.

Step 2: The upper front panel is taken off. The two screws located at the top of the control panel are identified and taken out. The panel is carefully pulled away from the refrigerator.

Step 3: The wire harness is detached from the ELMNT-BROLMNT by gently pulling on the connector.

Step 4: The mounting screws that secure the ELMNT-BROLMNT to the control panel are unscrewed.

Step 5: The new part is placed, then the previous steps are followed in reverse to reinstall the refrigerator control panel and reconnect the wires.

Step 6: The refrigerator is reconnected, the water supply is turned back on, and the power is restored.

Step 7: A test cycle is conducted to verify that the part is functioning properly.
