Installation Steps

Step 1: Your dishwasher is disconnected from the electrical outlet, and both the hot and cold water supplies to the dishwasher are shut off.

Step 2: The spray arm is detached from the dishwasher by loosening the retaining nut positioned at the center of the spray arm.

Step 3: After the spray arm is detached, the lower spray arm mount is identified. The mount is unscrewed and taken out, then the old upper spray arm mount (WP8539324) is proceeded to be removed.

Step 4: The new upper spray arm mount (WP8539324) is positioned in place.

Step 5: The lower spray arm mount is reinstalled and tightened securely.

Step 6: The spray arm is reattached to the upper spray arm mount. The retaining nut is fastened.

Step 7: The hot and cold water supplies to the dishwasher are reconnected and the dishwasher is plugged back into the power source.

Step 8: The dishwasher is activated and it is verified that the new upper spray arm mount (WP8539324) is firmly secured and rotating correctly.
