Installation Steps

Step 1: The oven is disconnected from its electrical supply.

Step 2: The oven is taken away from the wall.

Step 3: The oven door is opened to gain access to the interior.

Step 4: With a Phillips screwdriver, the screws that hold the back panel of the oven against the wall are taken out.

Step 5: The back panel is extracted and the oven sensor is identified, which is generally situated behind the temperature control panel.

Step 6: The wiring harness is disconnected from the existing oven sensor.

Step 7: The old oven sensor is taken out from the oven by loosening the mounting screws that fasten it to the oven wall.

Step 8: The new oven sensor is installed in the same position as the previous one and the mounting screws are firmly secured to the wall.

Step 9: The wiring harness is reconnected to the new oven sensor.

Step 10: The back panel is gently reattached to the oven wall and fastened with the Phillips screws.

Step 11: The oven is reconnected to the power source and it is verified that the new oven sensor functions correctly.

Step 12: The oven is positioned back in its original place.
