Installation Steps

Step 1: The dryer should be disconnected from the power source prior to commencing service.

Step 2: The back panel of the dryer should be taken off.

Step 3: The control timer situated in the lower right section of the dryer should be identified.

Step 4: The wiring harnesses should be detached from the rear of the timer by releasing the clips and lifting them away.

Step 5: The mounting screws that hold the timer to the dryer's cabinet should be taken out.

Step 6: The old timer should be extracted and freed from the cabinet.

Step 7: The new timer should be positioned inside the cabinet and the wiring harnesses should be reconnected.

Step 8: The new timer should be fastened securely using the mounting screws.

Step 9: The back panel of the dryer should be reattached.

Step 10: The dryer should be reconnected to the power supply and activated to verify functionality.
