Installation Steps

Step 1: Identify the Water Filter. The water filter is situated in the bottom right corner of your refrigerator compartment.

Step 2: Shut off the water supply. Prior to starting, it should ensure that the cold water valve providing water to the refrigerator is turned off.

Step 3: Extract the old filter. The old filter should be twisted counterclockwise until it is detached from the housing.

Step 4: Place the new filter. The new filter should be inserted into the filter housing and gently twisted clockwise to secure it.

Step 5: Restore the water supply. The cold water valve should be reactivated to resume water flow to the refrigerator.

Step 6: Purge the filter. One gallon of water should be allowed to flow through the system to eliminate any air pockets and ensure clean water.

Step 7: Inspect for leaks. The area around the filter housing should be examined for any signs of water leakage to confirm it is properly secured.
