Description

The Samsung DA32-00057D Refrigerator Temperature Sensor is intended to detect the temperature of the ambient air and generate electrical resistance signals to the control board in the appliance to indicate the temperature inside the appliance compartments. Located inside the compartment, it connects to the control system wiring, mounting clips, and sensing probe housing for proper placement and response. It is a thermistor, which changes its resistance in response to changes in temperature to provide accurate input assists to ensure proper temperature control, optimize cooling control and maintain system stability in normal refrigeration and defrost cycles.
