Description

The Midea 15500216000008 AC 4-Way Valve reverses the coolant flow between the coils of the indoor and outdoor units to alternate the appliance between the cooling and heat pump heating modes. The valve is installed in the refrigerant line set in the outdoor unit between the compressor discharge and connections to the fixed orifice tube/expansion component by the specified fittings. Its inner spool and solenoid actuators connect to control wiring and refrigerant lines to divert high-pressure flow according to mode need. By this flow-direction control function, the valve facilitates the mode changes and constant temperature control under normal operation cycles.
