The Magic Chef GYJDQ4680301B Dryer Timer is a control part that regulates the time of the cycle by moving the unit with the support of the chosen settings. Its primary objective is to manage the start, running and completion of stages in order to follow the selected program in each cycle. The timer operates on a motor-driven cam system which opens internal electrical contacts at pre-determined intervals. It is installed on the back of the control knob in the panel, and is connected to the wiring harness.
