Description

The General Electric WB31X49806 Range Griddle is a cooking surface element that is meant to give the appliance a flat area to grill. It works by spreading the heat of the burners uniformly on its surface to cook uniformly. This griddle is mounted directly on the range top, and it is part of the cooking assembly and acts as the contact point between the source of heat and cookware.

Step1: Ensure the range is turned off and cool.

Step2: Remove any existing griddle or burner covers.

Step3: Align the new griddle over the designated burners.

Step4: Place it securely so it sits flat and stable.

Step5: Check for proper fit and spacing.

Step6: Test burners with caution to ensure even heating and safety.
