Installation Steps

Step 1: The power cord of your washer is disconnected from the outlet and the water supply to the appliance is turned off.

Step 2: The screws securing the back panel of the washer are taken out, then the bolts are unfastened and the panel is lifted away from the machine.

Step 3: The wires, hoses, and any other parts linked to the transmission gearcase are detached. If the hoses are secured with clamps, a screwdriver or pliers are utilized to loosen them.

Step 4: The existing transmission gearcase is removed and set aside.

Step 5: The new transmission gearcase is positioned in place and the wires, hoses, and components are reconnected as required.

Step 6: All the screws and bolts that were removed previously are securely fastened to attach the new gearcase.

Step 7: The washer's back panel is reattached and the screws are inserted.

Step 8: The water supply to the washer is restored and the power cord is reconnected to the outlet.

Step 9: The washer's functionality is verified to ensure it operates correctly and safely.
