Installation Steps

Step 1: Disconnect the Power. Prior to initiating any repairs on your washer, it should ensure that the appliance is disconnected from the electrical outlet. This is essential for your safety and the safeguarding of your machine.

Step 2: Detach the Hoses. Begin by detaching the two hoses linked to the rear of the washer and the drain pipe. If needed, a pair of pliers should be utilized to loosen them.

Step 3: Take Off the Clamps and Clips. Several clamps and clips situated around the perimeter of the washer’s cabinet should be noticed. These should be loosened using a screwdriver and taken off.

Step 4: Extract the Drum. After the clamps and clips are removed, the drum should be gently extracted and taken out of the washer.

Step 5: Reach the Water Pump. With the drum removed, access to the water pump located at the bottom of the washer will be gained.

Step 6: Remove the Water Pump Bolts. To detach the pump, a socket wrench should be employed to unfasten it from the washer.

Step 7: Place the New Water Pump. After the old pump is taken out, the new one should be positioned in its designated spot. The bolts should be securely tightened using a socket wrench.

Step 8: Reassemble the Washer. The drum should be returned to its original position and the clamps and clips reattached. The hoses should be securely connected, and the washer should be plugged back into the electrical outlet.
