Installation Steps

Step 1: Prior to executing any maintenance on your Bosch 20000246 Traverse, it should ensure that the power to the saw is completely switched off and that it is disconnected from all power sources. Protective eyewear and gloves should be donned while swapping this component.

Step 2: Utilizing a screwdriver, the two screws securing the old traverse should be detached. The old traverse should be gently slid out and placed aside.

Step 3: The new Bosch 20000246 traverse should be grasped and aligned in the same position as the old traverse. A small clamp should be used to secure the traverse in place. The traverse should be fastened with the two screws that were removed earlier.

Step 4: The power should be activated and the traverse should be gradually moved back and forth to confirm it is functioning correctly and that there are no blockages. Should the traverse fail to move smoothly, the power should be switched off once more and the position of the traverse should be modified until it operates smoothly.

Step 5: After completing the installation, any debris that may have resulted from the installation process should be cleared away. Proper disposal of the old traverse should be ensured.

Please remember, these guidelines are intended for general assistance and should always be utilized alongside the manufacturer's manual, if it is available.
