Installation Steps

Step 1: The refrigerator is disconnected from the electrical outlet and the water supply is deactivated.

Step 2: All food items, shelves, and drawers are taken out from the interior.

Step 3: The back panel of the refrigerator is detached by unscrewing the fasteners found in the lower corners.

Step 4: The 12002799 Whirlpool Refrigerator Electronic Control Board is identified and the wiring harness is detached.

Step 5: The new 12002799 Whirlpool Refrigerator Electronic Control Board is positioned and the wiring harness is reattached.

Step 6: The back panel of the refrigerator is secured using the screws removed in Step 3.

Step 7: The refrigerator is reconnected to the electrical outlet and the water supply is activated.

Step 8: All food items, shelves, and drawers are returned to the refrigerator.
